Hatha Yoga is suitable for all levels including beginners. Hatha yoga classes begin with breath awareness and gentle warm up; followed by a range of postures and practices designed to relieve tension, improve flexibility and nourish strength at every level; concluding with a deep relaxation or meditation. Vinyasa Yoga is a more vigorous yoga class that stimulates body and mind. Each class starts with a warm-up which builds into a range of dynamic yet approachable sequences that flow from pose to pose with the rhythm of the breath. Each class winds-down to a soothing closing sequence then a relaxation or meditation. Reasonable fitness and some yoga expereince is recommended. Get your prana flowing.

iRest Guided Meditations

iRest is a specific mind-body technique based on the ancient yogic practices of Yoga Nidra. Each session begins with a short discussion / some gentle movement followed by a 45 – 50min guided iRest meditation. The iRest practice is seeded with a sankalpa (heart felt desire / intention) of your choice and employs deep relaxation, visualization and meditative inquiry methods to help create a sense of calm & balance and foster positive change from within. Can be practiced seated or lying. Suitable for all levels.

Each moment is an invitation to happiness. Meditations for Peace & Happiness will encourage connection with the deeper self - where peace can always be found. Activities will include Mindfulness; Contemplative meditation for deeper meaning; Mantra meditation for directing the mind on beneficial thoughts; Meditation concentration skills that encourage clarity & inspiration; and Gentle relaxation activities that will provide the balance you seek. Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. It is a joyful, dynamic practice that boosts whole body stability, agility and mobility. In addition to the physical benefits, Nia also stimulates self-awareness, playfulness and enhances confidence, mindfulness and relaxation. Classes are taken barefoot to soul-stirring music. Every experience can be adapted to individual needs and abilities thus is suitable for all levels.

Pregnancy Yoga (with Sivani) is suitable when 14 weeks pregnant or more. It is a specialized class designed to nurture expecting mothers and to honour and celebrate the journey of pregnancy. Each week, Sivani chooses a different theme specifically related to supporting you through pregnancy and preparing your body and mind for the birth of your miracle baby. Special time is spent each class, through the postures and relaxation, to create a deeper and more loving connection with your baby. It is not necessary to have any previous yoga experience to attend our Pregnancy Yoga Class.

The Supportive Birth Workshop aims to empower the expecting mother and her birth partner to remain connected with the instinctive nature of childbirth. Discussion topic and practical skills include:

- How to create a safe and calm environment
- The importance of hormones and how to enhance them
- Positions, breath and relaxation techniques to assist labour and ease tension
- Massage techniques for the partner to use before and during labour
- Ways to avoid going over due date
- Effective pain relief skills and others ways to support both emotionally and physically
- What to expect in hospital and a decision making tool for the unexpected

Mum & Baby Yoga Classes with Rosa

Mum & Baby Yoga is suitable from 8 weeks (natural) / 12 weeks (C-section) up to active crawling. It is a 4 week course that mum & baby do together. It is a fun and supportive yoga class where mothers are free to tend to their baby’s feeding and settling needs at any time.It includes stretching, strengthening, singing and socialising for mother and baby. It is a great way to de-stress, tone-up,nourish bub and share with other new mums. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Please bring a wrap or baby blanket and your "big bag". Please note: missed classes are non-refundable.

Little Lotus Yoga is a class designed to build healthy bodies, healthy minds and healthy spirits of kids 5-12 years old. It helps to create happy children in a fun and non-competitive environment incorporating music, role play and yoga poses; brings calm by promoting breathing & relaxation; fosters resilience and confidence through increasing strength, flexibility & balance in your child as he or she practices to become a lotus, a fireflly, a frog or a crane. Bookings are required.

Helpful Tips...

What to Bring… A positive attitude. All yoga mats and props are provided in the studio. Bottle of water is a good idea...but If you forget, you can buy them at the studio for $2.

What to Wear… Comfortable clothes and a smile (jumper & socks in cooler months). No shoes required.

Where to Park... There is plenty of on-street parking. Please avoid parking too close to driveways. Please be quiet when entering / exiting to enhance a peaceful journey for all.

How to Pay…
Cash: You can pay casual or buy passes in cash at the studio (no eftpos)

Card: You can use your card to pre-purchase passes online - just bring your receipt. Passes can be used at any of our ongoing class.
4 class passes $55 are to be used within 6 weeks of activation
8 class passes $95 are to be used within 10 weeks of activation

Before Class... Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts to sign-in and pay.
Advise the instructor of any health issues / injuries / pregnancies that may affect your participation. Shoes Off   Phones Off   Voices Down  before entering the studio

During Class...
Be kind to yourself and others (mentally, verbally and physically). If something doesn’t feel right for you, don't do it, please ask the teacher for help and they can give you a variation to do instead.
